Alex introduced me and Jon to the 80’s TV theme song sound-alike that is the Mattress Giant jingle — complete with awkward overly sensual oooh-ing at the end.
He also introduced us to his bouncy new tune. We spent the entire practice playing this great number. Jon is still working out the kinks in his guitar solo but he’s almost there. After much flubbing, I was finally able to figure out the keyboard changes. Let’s see if I still got it next time we meet….
No cooking. We missed Danny too much to cook. So we ordered Thai food instead. And Alex counted off in French. I mean, he’s always counting off in French, but I think I saw a tear fall from his left eye when he said “trois.” Hope Danny’s enjoying his baguettes and coq au vin.
